About the Design

The Celtic Knot dates back to the 7th Century, they are a pattern of interlaced unbroken lines with no beginning or end and as such believed to denote faith, declare love and unity and protect against evil. They are also believed to represent infinity and eternity due to the continuous unbroken nature of the design.
The dragon is an important symbol in Celtic mythology. They were often depicted side by side with the Celtic gods. As creatures that protect the Earth and all living things, Celtic dragons are considered the most powerful of all the Celtic symbols.
