This uniquely designed pendant is designed with the Irish Gaeilge word Mathair (Mother). The framed Ogham inscription is crafted with crisp clean lines, giving it a distinct geometric look. A modern contemporary unisex piece steeped in Irish history. It comes complete with a heavyweight belcher chain.
☘️What is Ogham? Ogham is an ancient Irish alphabet dating back to the 4th century. It is the earliest form of writing in Ireland; it was mostly carved onto stone pillars to mark territories and land. Examples of Ogham stone pillars can still be found throughout Ireland.

Each Ogham pendant is individually handcrafted to order in my workshop in Dublin, Ireland. By handcrafting each one to order, I can ensure you get a quality piece made with the most intricate detail to last for generations to come. Each one is hallmarked in the Irish assay office in Dublin castle.
