The Claddagh Knot ring is a truly unique design, I  designed this ring by combining two of the most iconic symbols of Irish heritage, the Claddagh and the Celtic Knot. The ring consists of a Celtic Knot crafted into the shape of a Claddagh ring, hence the name 'The Claddagh Knot' and is exclusively available from Arnua. If you're looking for something really special and different from anything else out there, this is the ring for you.

About the Design

The first Claddagh Ring was made in Galway over 400 years ago in a small fishing village outside Galway called Claddagh. The Claddagh's distinctive design features two hands clasping a heart surmounted by a crown. The elements of this symbol are said to correspond to the qualities of love (the heart), friendship (the hands), and loyalty (the crown). How you wear your Claddagh ring represents your relationship status.

Where is it made?

Each Claddagh Knot ring is individually handcrafted to order in my workshop in Dublin, Ireland. By handcrafting each one to order, I can ensure you get a quality piece made with the most intricate detail made to last for generations to come. Each one is hallmarked in the Irish assay office in Dublin castle, branded with the Arnua logo and stamped 'Made in Ireland'.
